Can you believe that summer is over already? We certainly had a slow start to the warm weather, but the last couple of weeks were beautiful! I'm looking forward to seeing everyone back at Athena this week and to meeting our new friends who are entering kindergarten or who have transferred in from other schools. Let's make sure that all students feel welcome in our wonderful school!
As far as library news... there is a lot! We have so many new books that should be arriving soon. I spent a lot of time last spring cleaning the old and damaged books off of the shelves to make room for the amazing new books that many students and teachers helped me pick out. I will put lists of the books on here as they arrive.
